I just read a wonderful mystery/suspense novel set in the Idaho backcountry. The story is unique and kept me rivited to the very end. It's a story that will stay with you long after reading it. I recently learned to SCUBA. Love it. Last trip was to Cozumel...wow what wonderful diving. It's a great sport for those of us who are getting a little longer in the tooth.

OTHER INTERESTS

I have been involved in the martial arts(Karate: Chinese Kenpo)since 1975. Karate has been and still is a major influence on my life. This past week my Shidoshi promoted me to Nidan or 2nd degree black belt. Shidoshi is from the "old school" which means he doesn't believe in the diluted training usually found in the vast majority of American dojos. Shidoshi has taught karate for more than 30 years but has promoted only 12 people to black belt. The symbol of our institute is the dragon which reprsents our emphysis on spiritual training. That doesn't mean we are lacking in physical training...just that our ultimate goal is spiritual expansion. I chosen a picture of a tiger because it is said taht my personal style of sparring is like a feline...stalking and pouncing.
